
Sweeteners (I lean towards 2:1 syrups as they have a longer shelf life and won’t dilute your drinks as much; 1:1 syrups, if you do make a 1:1 it should be used within two weeks):
- Rich Simple Syrup: (Made with white granulated or cube sugar) The most basic sweetener—equal parts sugar and water, simmered until dissolved.
- Demerara Rich Simple Syrup: (Made with demerara granulated or cube sugar) Adds a richer, deeper sweetness with notes of caramel and molasses.
- Demerara Rich Gum Syrup: (A variant with added Acacia Gum for a silkier mouthfeel) This adds a luxurious texture to your cocktails.
- Rich Honey Syrup: (Made with honey) Adds a unique floral sweetness.
